January Crab Feast and Dessert Auction
This is a fund raising event held for the benefit of the social and civic activities or projects of the Teton Valley Chamber of Commerce. It happens every January. There are two highlights in this event: a sumptuous crab-theme dinner and a public auction for the most scrumptious dessert of the night. The townspeople are requested to donate their most delicious dessert and these are auctioned right after dinner.
February SnoCross Race
Every February Teton Valley hosts a SnoCross Race. People from all over Idaho, Wyoming and other nearby states participate in this event, the snow condition in the in the Teton Valley are ideal for snocross. The racers are divided into categories depending on ability, and the events is centered around the town to provide spectator comfort and and a great family weekend.
July Summer Festival
The Summer Festival is the most famous festival held in Teton Valley. Every fourth of July, people from all over the country gather in Teton Valley to celebrate the day with many interesting events, including hot air balloons, Tetonia Rodeo, Old Time Fiddler's contest, arts and crafts, car shows, and other recreational activities. There is a Fourth of July Parade followed by a fireworks display afterwards.
August John Colter Run
A Fun Run and Marathon is held every August in honour or John Colter who was said to roam around Teton Valley in the early 1800's and captured by Blackfoot Indians. It is usually a 2-mile fun run with residents and visitors of all ages participating in the event.
